Delete your account
You can delete your Unhook account at any time, right inside the app.
In the app

Open Unhook and tap the gear on the Home screen to open Settings.

Tap Delete account.

Confirm. You're signed out straight away, and the data on your phone is cleared.
What gets deleted
Your sign-in
Your email address and password are deleted immediately. You won't be able to sign in again with them.
Community and sharing
Your community name, posts and mutes are deleted, and your accountability link stops working.
This phone
Your streak, logs, journal and settings are cleared from the app.
Your backup
Your progress records are removed from your account. A copy with no email or password attached is kept in a restricted archive — see how long we keep information.
Never made an account?
Then your information only exists on your phone. Delete the app — press and hold its icon, then tap Remove App → Delete App — and it's gone.
Can't open the app?
Send us a request from the email address on your account. We'll delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email. We only act on requests from that address, so no one else can delete your account.
